Meet Our Speaker
Born on July 28, 1973, to Vickie McNeely, Deace was raised by his mother alongside one sibling in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. His mother later married when Deace was three years old, and he took his stepfather's surname without being formally adopted. In 1997, Deace married his wife, Amy, and they have three children together. He is a Christian, having converted in 2003 after attending a Promise Keepers rally
Steve Deace hosts a daily two-hour show focused on faith, culture, and politics for The Blaze — one of the largest online media platforms in the country. He’s also the author of numerous books, three of which (Faucian Bargain, Why Thanksgiving, and Rise of the Fourth Reich) were certified national best-sellers. With Faucian Bargain also certified as a #1 overall best-seller in the country according to Amazon. His 2016 book about a demonic takeover of America, A Nefarious Plot, was adapted in the major motion picture Nefarious, which was released in theaters nationwide (with Deace as executive producer). Deace speaks all over the country, and has also worked on numerous political campaigns from local school board to President of the United States.
